Chief Joseph Fasulo has been chief since January 2002. He came through the ranks in his career of 26 years with the Old Tappan Police Department. Before becoming the Chief of Police he spend 13 years as Sergeant and the last 5 years as Detective Sergeant in charge of the detective bureau. Chief Fasulo is a life-long resident of the Borough of Old Tappan and looks forward to serving the people of Old Tappan. Chief Fasulo has an opened door policy with all the members of the community and is willing to help in any capacity possible.
