The Borough of Old Tappan requires all burglar, fire, and panic alarms or an type of alarm that goes through a central station monitoring system, must be registered with the Police Department. A fee of $20.00 must be included with the form and is good for the calendar year.

All new businesses in the Borough of Old Tappan must register their alarm system and provide emergency information to allow the Police Department to contact an owner/manager.
Vacation Home/Vacant Home Form
If you are going out of town on vacation and would like your house checked during your absence or a home that is vacant for any reason. The Police Department will conduct a visual check of the EXTERIOR of your home.
Seniors may register with the Police Department to receive a phone call at specific times throughout the day to check on your well being.
Emergency Notification System used to be notified in case of important information pertaining to Old Tappan. The form can be emailed or printed and returned to the Police Department.
